SOUPER COOKS AND COMFORT CRAFTERS is a group of men and women dedicated to caring for those in need by donating time and ingredients to make soup for Table of Plenty, a ministry founded by Janet Hartzell, located in Souderton, PA that serves a hot lunch three times a week to our local neighbors in need of a meal and fellowship. Soup is also shared with the Quakertown Food Pantry
This group also lovingly hand creates donations that are sewn, knitted or crocheted to support various ministries including hats, scarves and mittens for Martin Luther Silver Springs School, projects for Knits for Kids, prayer shawls, chemo-caps and scarves for oncology wards, receiving blankets and other sewn items for the SEPA In-gathering kits.
If you enjoy cooking, sewing, knitting, or crocheting in the company of others and have a passion for helping those in need, please join in the fun, as volunteers are always welcome! The group meets at 9:00 AM., the second Monday of every month (except July and August) in the St. John's fellowship hall.
