  • LUTHERAN COMMUNITY AT TELFORD AUXILIARY

    The purpose of the Lutheran Community at Telford Auxiliary is:

    + To develop among the membership of the supporting congregations a deep interest in and a loyal support of the Lutheran Community at Telford

    + To organize and unite the services of the members of the supporting congregations in promoting the physical comfort and spiritual well-being of the residents of the Lutheran Community at Telford

    + To sponsor and coordinate activities and programs as authorized by the Management Corporation or administration for the benefit of the Lutheran Community at Telford and its residents. The Key woman attends each meeting and organizes Birthday favors for the residents once a year, and coordinates Saturday entertainment for the residents once a year. The Auxiliary also assists LCT's Development Office by publicizing fundraising events in the church newsletters and bulletins and encouraging congregational members to volunteer to help. The Auxiliary meets the second Monday of January, April, July, and October.

    LUTHERAN COMMUNITY AT TELFORD CORPORATION

    The Lutheran Community at Telford Corporation by-laws call for representatives from each of the twelve supporting churches to be present at an annual meeting to approve major changes and projects on the table for discussion.

    LUTHERAN COMMUNITY AT TELFORD MANAGEMENT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

    The Lutheran Community at Telford Health Care Center, Inc. is the governing body of the community, and it is responsible for the overall operation of the corporation:

    + Recommends general management policy

    + Sets standards and policies that ensure the quality of care

    + Has responsibility to establish, clarify, maintain, and approve the mission statement of the community

    + Selects, appoints, and supports the CEO and assess his/her performance

    + Reviews and approves appropriate employee policies and benefits

    + Reviews and approves the annual budget

    + Provides and maintains a top quality physical plant

    + Actively participates in the long range planning

    + Acts as a liaison between the Lutheran Community at Telford Corporation and the 12 supporting churches.

    Board members serve a 3-year term, and may serve 2 consecutive terms. The board meets on the 2-year term, and may serve 2 consecutive terms. The board meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm.
