COFFEE FELLOWSHIP Coffee Fellowship is held immediately following each worship service, and is a time for meeting and greeting fellow members and visitors. Join us for coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a snack! This is a great time to get to know one another and to keep in touch with what is happening in each other's lives. It is also a great time to welcome visitors. ANNUAL PICNIC The annual picnic, planned by our parish life committee, is a time of fun and fellowship on our beautiful woodland grounds. The picnic is free and is supported by a free-will offering and many member donations. Join us for food: hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, snacks, dessert and more. Music is often provided by the St. John's Praise band. Join in the fun-games of all kinds for adults and children! The picnic will take place on SUNDAY, JUNE 5th, 2011 immediately following our one-service worship that morning. For more information, please contact Mark Bruder, picnic coordinator. ANNUAL DESSERT JAM The annual dessert jam, planned by our praise band vocalist, Steve Guider, is an evening of jokes, music and talent. Modeled after the old-time radio show format, the dessert jam showcases the talents of St. John's members, a lot of fun and laughter, and of course, the DESSERTS made by the wonderful bakers in our congregation. So, get your acts together or come out to fill the audience seats for a night you won't want to miss! Contact Steve Guider for more information, or to enlist your talents. This year's Dessert Jam was held on SATURDAY, MARCH 12th, 2011 at 6:30pm. Admission-members and guests were asked: Please bring an item to donate to our food pantry! ANNUAL EASTER BREAKFAST AND ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT The annual Easter Breakfast is always held the Saturday before Palm Sunday. Immediately following, our children's Easter Egg hunt takes place on our beautiful grounds (weather permitting) or indoors if it rains. Kids are invited to join in the fun and take home some prizes for their efforts! | ||||
