Communications Committee

The Communications Committee supports our many ministries by organizing internal and external communications. Internal communications include, creating and maintaining St John's web site, possibly creating and maintaining a phone chain/email blast among members and friends of St. John's, and maintaining mailing lists and contact information for members and friends. External communications include, creating and maintaining St. John's website getting the word out to the surrounding community about our ministries, using both traditional and new media opportunities. New media opportunities include the website and possibly social networking technologies or interactive resources provided by local papers or the SEPA synod.

The Communications Committee is new, and will continue to grow and develop as ideas are discussed. Gifts needed to serve on the Communications Committee include, love of God and neighbor, a passion to welcome others to God's house, enthusiasm for organizing and attending to details, good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. The time involved in serving on this committee is to be determined.
